Create multilingual Self-Help pages

Anakage Content Management provides easy way to create HTML Pages without needing any programming language. Content can be created in any language including Japanese, Chinese etc. A page can be created using easy to use WYSWYG editor.

Create Self-Help Pages

1 – Login to Self-Help dashboard using super admin credentials.

On successful login admins will be redirected to home page of Self-Help portal which will show “Dashboard” button.

2 – Click on “Dashboard” button to access Admin section.

3 – Click on “Content Management” tab and then select “Create Page”.

Facility – If you are super admin for multiple facilities you will see multiple items. Select the appropriate facility for which you are creating HTML page. If you are seeing only one in this list then keep it selected.

Publish – Yes/No – Select Yes if you want to publish or make it live now. Select No if you want to create HTML page but do not want to show it to users now.

Title – This is Title of HTML page using which pages are uniquely identified. You will see this title in all other sections of dashboard. For example – The title of available pages will be shown in “CREATE SOLUTION” or “EDIT SOLUTION” form when solution type is “Anakage Self help pages”

The content section has multiple options for HTML pages. Move mouse over buttons to see the name of button.

  • Source – Click the Source button to display the HTML source of this text in the source editing area. Click the Source button again to return to the WYSIWYG view.
  • Save – This plugin saves the editor content and submits it to the server.
  • New Page – This plugin adds toolbar button which clears the editing area and creates a new page.
  • Preview – This plugin adds toolbar button which shows a preview of the document as it will be displayed to end users or printed. When you click on this option a new tab will open with your html page preview.
  • Print – This plugin activates the printing function. A standard operating system printing pop-up window will appear where you will be able to choose the printer as well as all relevant options.
  • Templates – This plugin provides a dialog to offer predefined content templates – with page layout, text formatting and styles.

  • Cut – You can use the Cut option to delete the selection and send it to the computer clipboard memory. The cut data can be later inserted to another place in the same presentation.
  • Copy – You can use the Copy option to copy the selection to the computer clipboard memory. The copied object can be later inserted to another place in the same presentation.
  • Paste – find the place in your presentation where you need to paste the previously copied object. The object will be inserted at the current cursor position. The object can be previously copied from the same presentation.
  • Paste as plain text – Plain text pasting is basically clearing the clipboard of all the formatting related tags associated with the content.
  • Paste from word – This feature allows you to paste content from Microsoft Word and maintain original structure and formatting.

  • Undo – Use the Undo icon to undo the last operation you performed.
  • Redo – Use the Redo icon to redo the last undone operation.
  • Find/Replace – This plugin adds Find and Replace dialog, allowing you to quickly search the text as well as replace words inside it. Common options available for matching: case, whole word, cyclic.

  • Select All – This plugin adds select all toolbar button which makes possible to select entire contents of the document. It makes it is easier to e.g. apply any formatting to a larger text fragment.
  • List Style – This plugin adds numbered list and ordered list properties dialogs (available in context menu).
  • From – A webform, web form or HTML form on a web page allows a user to enter data that is sent to a server for processing.
  • – Checkbox are used to select multiple selections unlike radio button. They can be checked and unchecked.
  • Radio Button – Radio Buttons are used to choose a single element among a group.
  • Text Field – A text field is a form element that lets you enter text into a single-line field and send your input to the server when you are submitting the form.

  • Textarea – A textarea is a form element that lets you enter text into a multiline, scrollable field, and send your input to the server when you are submitting the form.
  • Selection field – A selection field is a form element that lets you select one or more items from the scrollable list and send your selection to the server when you are submitting the form.
  • Button – A button is a form element that gives the user a visual cue for completing a form action.
  • Image Button – An image button is a form element that gives the user a visual cue for completing a form action. It is a clickable image that functions just like a standard button but has a customized appearance.
  • Hidden Field – A hidden field is a special form element in that it does not allow any interaction with the user and is hidden from view. At the same time its value is sent to the server when the form is being submitted.
  • Bold – To write in bold (i.e. using thicker letters).

  • Italics – To write in italics (i.e. using slanted letters).
  • Underline – To underline the text (i.e. draw a horizontal line underneath the letters). Remember that the underline style will also be applied to all white space of the selected fragment.
  • Text Through – To strike the text through (i.e. draw a horizontal line through the letters). Remember that the strike-through style will also be applied to all white space of the selected fragment.
  • Subscript – Subscript is a character that is slightly smaller than the text that surrounds it and is set below the baseline. It is often used in mathematical expressions to denote a variable version or the denominator part of a fraction.
  • Superscript – Subscript is a character that is slightly smaller than the text that surrounds it and is set above the baseline. It is often used in mathematical expressions to denote power or the numerator part of a fraction.
  • Remove Format – To remove text styling applied to the document text, select the text fragment and press remove format button. All text styling will be removed and the text will be displayed in the default font.
  • Insert/Remove Numbered List – Numbered lists are useful when you want to group a number of items that need to appear in a particular order. They are perfectly suited for lists of procedures or step-by-step instructions.
  • Insert/Remove Bulleted List – Bulleted lists are useful when you want to group a number of items that do not need to appear in any particular order.
  • Decrease Indent – To decrease the indentation of the element. The indentation of a block-level element containing the cursor will decrease by one tabulator length.
  • Increase Indent – To increase the indentation of the element. The block-level element containing the cursor will be indented with one tabulator length.
  • Block Quote – Block quote is used for longer quotations that are distinguished from the main text by left and right indentation.

  • Create Div Container – Div are elements used to define parts of a document, so that they are identifiable when a unique classification is necessary.
  • Align Left – When you align your text left, the paragraph is aligned with the left margin and the text is ragged on the right side.
  • Center – When you center your text, the paragraph is aligned symmetrically along the vertical axis and the text is ragged on the both sides. This setting is often used in titles or table cells.
  • Align Right – When you align your text right, the paragraph is aligned with the right margin and the text is ragged on the left side.
  • Justify – When you justify your text, the paragraph is aligned with both left and right margin; the text is not ragged on any side. Instead of this, additional spacing is realized through flexible amount of space between letters and words that can stretch or contract according to the needs.
  • Text Direction – change the text direction (HTML “dir” attribute) for a block-level content element such as a paragraph, header, table or list. It is useful for working with bi-directional language content.
  • Link – The Link feature lets you add clickable hyperlinks or e-mail addresses to your documents.
  • Unlink – Pressing the button removes the link and leaves plain text.
  • Anchors – It supports placing anchors in document text.

  • Image – It allows you to add images to your documents in an easy and intuitive way.

  • Flash – It allows you to add flash files to your documents in an easy and intuitive way.
  • Table – To create a table, press the button table on the toolbar. It allows you to set the table dimensions and configure the way it will appear in the document.
  • Horizontal line – Also known as horizontal rule, is a divider that that cuts the page into parts and spans from one side of the document to the other.
  • Smiley – Choose an appropriate icon from a set of graphical mood representations.
  • Insert Special Characters – It allows you to choose a symbol from a set containing Latin letters, numbers (including fractions), currency symbols, punctuation, arrows, and mathematical operators.
  • Page Break – The Page Break provides a possibility to insert a page break into the rich-text editor.
  • Iframes – It allow you to insert a frame containing another document in the middle of your document.
  • Formatting’s Styles – This list makes it easy to apply customized styles and semantic values to content created in the editor.

  • Paragraph Format – It provides the ability to add block-level text formatting to your document. When enabled, the formats work on block level which means that you do not need to select any text in order to apply them and entire blocks will be affected by your choice.
  • Font Name / Font Size – The Font is the typeface that will be applied to the document text. Fonts are pre-defined sets of characters with uniform styling collected under one name. Size determines how big or small a font used in the document text will be.
  • Text Color / Background Color – It allows you to change the color of text in your documents by using a color palette. It allows you to change the color of text background in your documents by using a color palette. 

Save – Once done click on Save button to save the html page. If you have selected “Yes” in Publish field, then page will be shown in page list. You can view your html page after saving by clicking “VIEW PAGE” button. When you click “VIEW PAGE” a new window will be open with your html content.

Page List Management

All the created pages can be viewed in page list management. Click on “Content Management > Page List” to reach this section

For creating new html page click on “+ADD PAGE” button at top right corner.

Edit Page

For updating existing html page click on “EDIT” button. Make the changes and click on “SAVE”.

Delete Page

For Deleting existing html page click on “DELETE” button. The page will be deleted.

Copy Page

To copy an existing page, click on “COPY” button. A new page will be created which is exact copy of page.

View Page

To view page, click on “VIEW PAGE” button. A new window will open showing the selected page.
